The Indian Society of Periodontology (ISP) conducted the ISP Golden Jubilee National Conference at New Delhi from 17th to 20th December 2025. Our first- and second-year postgraduate students, Dr. Gowri, Dr. Kavippriyan, Dr. Reemitha, Dr. Adarsh Vignu, Dr. Mathivanan, and Dr. Nivethitha, along with Senior Lecturer Dr. Vaishnavi, attended the conference and actively participated by presenting posters and scientific papers.

Dr. Kavippriyan was selected as an ISP Research Grants Awardee, and the certificate was presented during the conference. He also won a Commendation Award for his poster presentation in the Case Reports category.

Scientific Presentations:

• Vaishnavi, Senior Lecturer, presented a paper titled
  “Root Surface Revival: Hyaluronic Acid vs. EDTA as Root Conditioning Agents on Periodontally Affected Teeth – A SEM Study.”
• Gowri, second-year postgraduate student, presented a poster titled
  “Smiles Backed by Science: Evidence-Based Decision-Making in Periodontal Practice.”
• Kavippriyan, second-year postgraduate student, presented a poster titled
  “Reawakening the Lost Papilla.”
• Reemitha, second-year postgraduate student, presented a poster titled
  “Sunlight to Smile: The Impact of Vitamin D on Periodontitis.”
• Adarsh Vignu, first-year postgraduate student, presented a poster titled
  “Bridging Nature and Molecular Docking.”
• Mathivanan, first-year postgraduate student, presented a poster titled
  “From Fruit Waste to Tissue Repair: Pomegranate Peel-Based Bioactive Scaffold for Periodontal Regeneration.”
• Nivethitha, first-year postgraduate student, presented a poster titled
  “Virtual Reality: A New Dimension in Learning – Dental Students’ Insights into Virtual Reality in Dentistry.”
