INDUCTION OF NEW MOBILE DENTAL VAN

Our honourable Chairman Dr. K. V. Kupusamy Ayya sanctioned one more fully equipped mobile dental unit to RVS Dental College & Hospital to expand community dental services in and around Coimbatore District. With the blessings of our Chairman, on 12.01.2026, the mobile dental unit was inaugurated by our honourable Collector, Thiru Pavankumar G. Giriyappanavar, I.A.S., District Collector of Coimbatore, at 12 noon in the Collector’s Office premises. The Collector appreciated the initiative and involvement taken by RVSDC&H in promoting oral health. Mr. Balachander, Chief Engineer, RVSGOI, and Dr. Vijay V.K., Director-cum-Principal of RVSDC&H, explained the functions and treatments carried out in the mobile dental unit to the Collector. RVSDC&H staff and interns witnessed and were part of the inauguration programme. Dental screening and oral health education were also carried out for the Collectorate Office employees.
