RVS Dental College & Hospital recently celebrated the graduation on 29th September 2025, at Smt. Padmavathi Ammal Memorial auditorium. The event marked a significant milestone in the college's history, recognizing the academic achievements and dedication of its 107 graduating students (95 undergraduates and 12 Post graduates). The ceremony was live streamed for family and friends.
The ceremony began with an NCC procession led by faculty members and dignitaries.
A renowned plastic surgeon Dr. S.Raja Sabapathy, Chairman, Ganga Hospital, Coimbatore was the chief guest, Major.Gen.Dr.R.Ravikumar, Dean KMCH Institute og health Sciences and Research as the Guest of Honour. The ceremony was presided over by RVS trust Executives Mr. A.Paari (CAO), Mr. S.Balachander ( Chief engineer), Mr. Kandaswamy ( CFO), and Mr. P.S.Srivatsan ( E.D).
Dr. Vijay V.K, Director cum Principal of RVSDCH, welcomed the guests and expressed pride in the graduating class, highlighting their dedication and passion for dentistry.
Dr. Raja Sabapathy encouraged the graduates to continue learning, innovating, and serving with compassion and integrity, emphasizing that they have the knowledge, skill, and determination to make an impact in their field and he conferred degrees upon the students. Major.Gen. Dr. R.Ravikumar encouraged graduates to be bold, innovative and use skills and experience to make a positive impact in their field.
Mr. A. Paari congratulated the graduates on their accomplishments and encouraged them to strive for making a positive impact on the lives of others.
Dr.Saravanan Professor & Head, Department of Pharmacology delivered Hippocratic Oath to the graduates.
Representing the MDS graduates, Dr. Shanmuga Priya, the department topper from Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, gave a heartfelt and impactful speech, capturing the essence of their postgraduate experience and expressing gratitude to faculty and peers alike.
Dr. Sowmiya, the batch topper from the graduating BDS class, delivered an inspiring valedictory speech on behalf of her batchmates, reflecting on their journey, challenges, and achievements throughout their undergraduate years.
The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks Dr.Umesh.K, professor & Head, Department of Public Health Dentistry expressing gratitude to the chief guest, dignitaries, faculty members, and students for making the event a grand success.
