The department of Periodontology, RVS Dental College & Hospital takes immense pleasure in celebrating World Oral Health Day where Doctors and Interns of this institution take this opportunity as a great initiative to promote and enhance the knowledge of World Oral Health. World Oral Health Day celebration was held on 20/03/2025 to commemorate the world oral health organization. The celebration commenced with blessings from our esteemed chairman, Kalvithanthai Dr. K.V. Kupusamy Ayya, and was further enriched by the guidance of Dr. V.K. Vijay, Principal and Director of the RVS Group of Institution. We were priviledged to have a webinar meet with DCI members. The program was effectively orchestrated by Professor Dr Deepshika Saravanan, Head of the Department of Periodontology, along with the esteemed contributions of Professor Dr. M. Senthilkumar and Reader Dr N. Sakthi Ganesh.
Additionally, senior lecturers Dr Vinu Sarangesh, Dr Abarnashree, Dr Vaishnavi and tutor Dr. Pratheepa. A significantly enhanced the event with their knowledge and experience.

Doctors and interns from RVS Dental College & Hospital took a pledge to prioritize oral health and promote awareness about its importance.
Free Periodontal Screenings is done in RVS Engineering college .Later that day, rally was conducted by the students and doctors of our institution to raise awareness about the importance of good oral health and promote healthy habits among the community. The rally included interesting skits to engage the participants and reinforce oral health awareness. Dr. Deepshika Saravanan delivered an oral health talk to the staffs of college of homeopathy emphasizing the significance of oral health,highlighting its connection to systemic diseases such as heart disease and diabetes.
