INTERDISCIPLINARY MEET

We, the Department of Oral Pathology and Oral Microbiology & Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology have organised and conducted the interdisciplinary meet (IDM) on 09.10.2024 at Shri Padmavathy Ammal memorial auditorium from 2.00 - 3.15 pm.
Interns – Shobika, Shubaprabha, Sivagurunathan, Sowbaranica, Sowmiya.M, Sowmya.R, Sri kiruttika devi, Thirumalaivasan have presented 4 different case scenario under the title of ‘Histopathology: clarifying unique aspects of mimicking oral lesions’ which was really an eye opening session for everyone emphasizing the significance of histopathological examination for providing final diagnosis and planning the accurate treatment for such mimicking oral lesions.
The program was guided by Dr. Kavitha, Dr.Raghu Dhanapal, Dr.Gowri Shankar (Dept of Oral Pathology and Oral Microbiology) Dr.Chandrakala, Dr.Lakshminrusimhan, Dr.Preethi (Dept of Oral Medicine and Radiology).
It was followed by an interactive discussion session among the Staffs, PGs and Interns. At the end, the interns who have presented were awarded with the certificate as a token of appreciation.
