Library

The library of RVS Dental College and Hospital, one of the best among various dental institutions in southern India, which offers timely, accurate and current information to users for education, teaching and research. With an objective to acquire, manage, and disseminate health sciences information to students, faculty and research scholars, the library has been renovated, which spreads over 9570 Sq feet and can accommodate 300 users at a time. The Library holds over 3,210 volumes and 834 Titles on dentistry, as well as the basic sciences and selected medical specialties.

Its collection of over 3,210 books and 100 bound journal volumes date back to the mid-1900s and are international in scope. In order to provide an appropriate and comfortable environment and for individual and group study, the central library has been equipped with a separate reading hall, undergraduate and postgraduate sections, faculty reading area, a separate audio-visual room and a state of art computer lab with over 20 computers.

The central library is equipped with Barcode Integration system to deal with the library management in the institution. It also offers scanning and photocopying services for the student community members and the other visitors. The library is subscribing more than 680+ online journals and over 70 print journals to support the scholarly and informational needs of the institution. The Wi-Fi internet network facility has been also provided by the library for accessing to e-journals/e-books though out the campus. The library provides access to magazines & newspapers for the benefit of students and faculty.
